Former Arsenal star, Paul Merson, has warned Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang not to leave for Manchester United.
According to Merson, “the grass is not always green on the other side”.
Aubameyang, who has one year left on his current deal with the Gunners, has been linked with a summer exit.
United, in the past, have landed Robin van Persie and Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal.
They are monitoring Aubameyang’s situation at the Emirates, with Barcelona also keen.
Merson has however urged the 30-year-old to stay put.
“I was very fortunate to play for Arsenal for a long time and make no mistake about it, it’s a great club. The grass is not always green on the other side, you have got to be careful.
“Aubameyang is at an age now where he will play every week for Arsenal. If he goes to, say, Manchester United or somewhere else, four or five bad games and you are out of the team,” he told Sky Sports.
