Wonderful story! In 2011, Junior Messias left Brazil at the age of 20 to join his brother in Italy with the goal of finding a job. Then he starts working on construction sites then delivering fridges.
His boss then asks him if he wants to join the amateur team he just created to change ideas after work days. The Brazilian then accepted and chained the goals before being spotted by an Italian D5 club in 2015 offering him a contract with a salary of €1500 per month.
Junior Messias continues to stack goals and sign in Serie D in 2016, Serie C in 2018, Serie B in 2019, climb in Serie A with Crotone in 2019 then sign at Milan AC this summer!
Injured, he has hardly played since the start of the season and returned to the pitch only last Saturday.
Last night, he discovered the Champions League at the age of 30 and realized a dream. Entering the 65th minute, Junior Messias offered Milan AC victory against Atlético in the 87th minute and saved his club from the elimination!

2021: Save Milan AC in LDC at 30 years old
