Ycee Rants Over Absence Of Rappers At The Rick Ross Live Show In Lagos

Rapper, Ycee has taken to social media to complain over the absence of rappers from the lineup of Rick Ross Live in Lagos Concert.

The Maybach Music Group executive returned to Nigeria for the show tagged ‘Rick Ross Live In Lagos’ after his first trip in 2012.

He had stormed Lagos for the Summer Jam Fest 2012 concert.

The Lagos concert took place on Thursday at Eko Hotel and Suites will feature popular artists including Davido, Tiwa Savage, Mayorkun, DJ Obi, The Cavemen, Fave, and DJ Yin among others

However, Ycee wasn’t too pleased over the absence of rappers on the lineup.

Stating that his complaint wasn’t about him as he hasn’t put out rap music for quite a while, he called out the decision for organizers to host Rick Ross who is a rapper in Lagos and yet not include Nigerian rappers on the lineup.

According to him, this is one of the factors why Nigerian rappers are switching their sound and doing more of singing instead of rapping.
