The reports coming from the Athletics Federation of Nigeria during the week is that one of the women’s team that won the 4*100 meters failed her doping test.
The team featuring Tobi Amusan, RoseMary Chukwuma, Favour Ofili and Grace Nwaokocha, won the gold with a new African record of 42.10s. But this would be thrown out of the windows as the anchor of the race Nwaokacha is in the center of the doling scandal.
The Athletics Federation of Nigeria has been notified of the development by the World Anti-doping agency as the confirmation of the B sample is still being awaited.
